Group solicit donations to reconstruct community toilets

Access to clean and safe toilets is a basic human need. However, many communities, particularly those in low-income areas, lack adequate sanitation facilities. This results in serious health and hygiene issues, particularly for women and children.

The “Be the Change” project is a project organised by Teach For Nigeria and is aimed at reconstructing toilets in underprivileged communities with the goal of providing safe and hygienic sanitation facilities to as many people as possible. The project is said to be dedicated to addressing the problem of unsafe toilets by reconstructing toilets in communities where access to these facilities is difficult, especially for school children.

Therefore, they are seeking support from funders and donors to help make an impact in the community and provide essential water, sanitation and hygiene facilities for communities in need. The donations will be used to purchase construction materials, hire skilled labourers, and cover other related expenses.
