Humanitarian Information Management Capacity Development - Round 33
We are reaching out to you to nominate participants from government, academia, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) supporting the humanitarian response coordination in northeast Nigeria to take part in our upcoming Humanitarian Information Management Capacity Development programs. The next training round will be held from 14-18 November 2022 at the University of Maiduguri, Maiduguri, Borno state.
About the Humanitarian Information Management Training
The training targets humanitarian actors responding to the crisis in northeast Nigeria. Facilitated by iMMAP, the training exercise combines information management theory and practices to help participants better understand how information management supports all stages of the humanitarian program cycle.
By the end of the training, participants will demonstrate the ability to access and use information in planning and implementing responses and making evidence-based decisions. This will be through strengthened knowledge in data collection, processing, analysis, presentation, and dissemination. Participants will also learn to use complementary datasets, baselines, and data that is fit for purpose. Participants will further learn how the data collected during crisis contexts benefit early recovery, recovery, and preparedness.
